I bought a Power Adapter through Amazon from a company called Northparts in Glen, NH. They shipped me the wrong part so I had to pay to ship it back to them and now they are saying they have not received the part that I shipped back. The part numbers are so far off, I’m thinking the picker must have been out to lunch when he filled the order. So far, it has costed me $50.00 for nothing. I will probably never buy anything from an Online store again.

It work’s just like it is supposed to. The cord was a bit shorter tan the original but for $5 plus some change and shipping it was still under $12, you can’t really beat that. The original HP cord actually got pretty hot and this new one doesn’t barely even get warm and the original HP cord costs a heck of a lot more, without shipping. Well worth it.

Believe it, folks. This item stopped working after three months. I use my computer every day but I do not abuse the cord. In fact, I took extra care with this cord because I wanted it to last longer than it did. I needed a quick, cheap fix when I bought it and this fit the bill. I would recommend you spend a little extra and get the real thing. If you end up replacing the cord more than once you’ll spend the same amount anyway. You might as well start out right.

i would recommend against this adapter unless it is hp original. i tried the cheaper option, it was dead on arrival…the power supply did not work and looks and feels like a cheap product.
