I’ve had many laptop fans but this is the best by far.. It is a perfect fit for a 17″ widescreen. It is being used with an Alienware M17 custom configured laptop…. So it is very trusted and has kept that rig very cool for performance. Fits underneath perfectly AND as a bonus it almost looks like it was made for the Alienware…

I got this because my Sony Vaio laptop gets quite hot when I’m watching movies or playing games. I’ve been using it for about a month and to be honest, it’s almost useless. it only slightly lowers the temperature of my laptop, and about a week ago it started making a very loud sound + having problems with the left fan for the first 5-10min of turning it on.

After searching for a few weeks for a cooling pad that may fit my 18.4 inch screen lap top, I finally settled on this cooling pad. I am very satisfied and please with it. It is surdy and fits my lap top well.

Originaly I gave this a bad review because I ordered the item, it was placed on back ordder and then sent several weeks after the back order date. However, customer service does resd these reviews and offered a refund on my shipping costs. While a refund does not fix the many weeks I wainted without word it did demonstrate a willingness on Cyberguys to respond to customer feedback and on their own initiative fix a problem. I was impressed enough to do business with them again and they do have a very extensive catalog. The cool max seems to be making a difference with the heat at the bottom of my 17 inch Dell. The two cooling fans seem pretty powerful but are very quiet.

Just got this in yesterday. Slightly smaller than my HPDV9000 serires laptop, which is perfect, it’s like I barely see it, barely hear it (while I’m playing music), I just have a better typing angle and LESS HEAT!! Which can get pretty bad on this one….so, at least for this 1st day, I’m happy! It’s not super duper quiet when the music’s off, but it is not obtrusively loud either. It’s just kind of a soft low hum and again, the laptop is nice and cool, which is what I wanted. I listen to music all day as I work, so any noise this thing gives off (well, under normal operation) isn’t going to be a bother at all….The 1 extra usb port is nice also. I had a usb hub plugged into the side of my laptop and now it goes into the back of this, so it’s out of the way. Doing exactly what I wanted it to do. Let’s hope it stays just like this…
