i had bought these as a gift and were very appreciated, but i also liked them they are clean looking with very minor ripples here and there, they are more potato shaped but hard to tell when wearing. i got this on lighting deal but at regular price i think i not a great deal.i compared them to these pearls side by side14k Yellow Gold Akoya Cultured Pearl 6.5-7mm Necklace and Stud Earring Set, and the graduated fresh water ones reflect light better have a deeper luster and over cleaner looking.

These are beautiful pearls. I don’t much about pearls and I’m giving these as a gift, but I wanted to keep them soooo bad. I don’t have any pearls and thought these were beautiful.
I’m giving these to a college student for christmas and thought it would be something nice to give her as she is now no longer a teenager and I also didn’t get her a graduation present yet.
I did get these through the amazon lightening deals so I didn’t pay the full price though either. So for the price i got them I think they are great.

Although the reviews were a bit mixed, I purchased this keeping Amazon’s return policy in mind. My expectations were definitely exceeded and I am keeping it! The best part is the pearl quality- they have a great lustre that can’t be imitated by costume jewelry. The color is all uniform and blemishes are minimal. The pearls are well matched and the sizing is appropriate for the graduation. I wore this to a holiday party and received several compliments.
The reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is the stringing of the necklace. It does not lay perfectly flat, part of which I attribute to storing in a bag and part of which is probably due to quality. However, the weight of the pearls straightens it out when wearing. I will be storing this in a flat box, rather than the bag it comes in.
It was worth the purchase, and I am glad I have a strand of pearls that I don’t feel anxious wearing. I have yet to wear my $400 pearls more than once, but will wear these often!
